"Hello, Emotion" Spoken Word Video Preview
It's funny how God works. Back in January, I was at dinner with a close friend. We ended up having a conversation about this talented guy we went to highschool with ('02 by the way). Weeks later, I get a phone call from someone asking about directing a spoken word video. Guess who's the talent.
Rick Rude is a Spoken Word artist out of Orlando, Florida. In this piece, he welcomes the emotions that so many people run from or get caught up in. Life isn't about what you go through, it's about how you respond.
Video drops 3-20-2015! Produced by YEP, linky. #ChristUP

Website Progress
Rather than have a splash page up for months, I decided to release my new site in phases. These will be rough phases. Really you will see the site as it is being built. As of now I do not have a date of completion, as I have other things to take care of. I actually agreed to hire a developer to create a site for me, but the day of, he didn't return my call, or email. So here is the site so far as developed by yours truly. This is the background, which was inspired by another design but I can't find it), and the video player (unstyled). At least now when you go to the site you can check out some dope videos. Thanks for your time and patience guys! PlaceProductions.com.

Photoshoot - Sam Flax/Nelquan's Barbershop
Just to get caught up, one of my favorite shoots last year (last month) was at Nelquan's Barbershop. Not only is it authentic, but the owner is a great guy and used to cut the hair of one of the models parents. The shots were used to establish an Art Director's portfolio for a local client. Above is one of my favorite shots, though I am not sure which images were actually chosen. Nelquan's Barbershop is located at the intersection of Colonial Drive and Hwy 436 in Orlando, FL.

C-Jak Music Video - "Destroy"
About five weeks ago, local Recording Artist C-Jak contacted me about shooting a music video. He wanted something simple, yet symbolic of his city. We decided to shoot in front of the newly constructed Amway Arena.

PI Bang "I'm On It" Video Shoot
Last week, Orlando recording artist P.I. Bang shot his fourth music video. Most people recognize his sound from his single "Trap Keep Jumping." The video has received over 70,000 views on YouTube and other outlets. The song is also impacting clubs as well as the local stations. His latest single "I'm On It" has also received good response.
The video was directed by Ryan Lightbourn, who has also worked with artists such as Big A.C. and Haitian Fresh. Ryan is also a Cinematographer. In this video, he had the help of Jib Operator Sunil (NexgenFilms). The video had a great turnout, and according to P.I. should be released within the next week.
